Course Description:
Working with Children of Divorce in the play therapy process can be overwhelming and frustrating. If you don't have solid boundaries and clear ethics, you will quickly burn out and potentially get yourself in legal troubles.
In this training we will focus on child work and parent work in a play therapy setting. You will learn ethics and boundaries for working with divorce cases from an attachment theory lens. Additionally, we will cover how to avoid common legal pitfalls as well as best practices.
Course Objectives:
Objective 1 Discuss ethics and boundaries in working with divorce cases in play therapy from an attachment theory lens.
Objective 2 Explain legal pitfalls that can be avoided by setting up expectations and scope of practice.
Objective 3 Identify 5 Divorce Case Best Practices in the play therapy setting.
